CrossFit Group Training

The CrossFit prescription is performing “functional movements that are constantly varied at high intensity.” CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program. The CrossFit program is designed to elicit as broad an adaptational response as possible. CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains. They are as follows:

  • Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance
  • Stamina
  • Strength
  • Flexibility
  • Power
  • Speed
  • Coordination
  • Agility
  • Balance
  • Accuracy

At CrossFit Good Life we use this as a foundation to our programs. Our aim is to increase your work capacity across broad time and modal domains, which is the definition of fitness. By-products of an increase in fitness are usually fat loss, muscle gain, and an increase in confidence, but these are not the main goals of the program.

We are proud to introduce GL Endurance. We teach the skill of running. You will learn the proper warm-up, dynamic drills, and biomechanics to avoid injury. GL Endurance will transform your approach and opinions of running. We will give you in-depth knowledge and training methodologies to develop your speed, endurance, and efficiency to become a better athlete. The GL Endurance program focuses on developing a more robust and efficient aerobic energy system. Our goal is to develop your resistance to fatigue for any activity. The club will plan to meet at a track in Peachtree City a few days a week.

A nutrition consultation is a service we offer to those looking for personalized help. During your consultation we will discuss your goals and answer questions you may have. The benefits of a nutrition consultation range from losing fat, building muscle, increasing energy, maximizing performance, and improving overall health. Following a training program is only part of the equation, proper nutrition practices are what change the way you look and feel.
